But really, crafty as she is, even Satsuki wasn't planning to get off the hook entirely. She's not in the habit of manipulating emotions anymore, so while Satsuki may have planned this entire maneuver well in advance and relied on Ryuko's nobility to save her, it still surprises her that it happened so quickly.]

Maybe it's true that possessions aren't as important to you after all, is that it?

[Satsuki lets out a small, 'tchh' noise of surprise. Her features soften and her eyebrows drop some.]

[ Aka Satsuki Kiryuuin: caterpillar-eyebrowed bitch, not Satsuki Kiryuuin: big sis. Such a rude assumption to make after all this time, but it's not like either of them are above antagonizing the other for kicks. ]

I'm insulted you think I'd commit such a reckless action without good reason. [After all, that's quintessential: Satsuki would never do such a thing.]

[ Well, she's not wrong. Ryuko certainly needs no better reason for half the things she does. ]
